Adam Eisenberg enjoys the fine art of mixing it up. He has been a film journalist, criminal prosecutor, civil trial attorney, filmmaker & book author…

Currently, he serves as an elected judge in Seattle Municipal Court. When he’s not on the bench, he teaches art and cultural property law for the University of Washington Museology (Museum Studies) Graduate Program, practices the martial art of aikido, and continues to write fiction and nonfiction.

A Different Shade of Blue tells the amazing story of women’s ongoing struggle nationwide to fit into the male-dominated world of police work. Three generations of female officers on the Seattle Police Department candidly share their experiences surviving on the streets and in the precincts.
